What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include the browser's local storage (localStorage and sessionStorage). In this policy we call all of them "cookies".

Your choice
On your first visit we ask whether you accept statistics cookies. Until you choose, and if you decline, no such cookies are stored. You can change your choice at any time.
Necessary (so the site remembers your choice)
- vrmax-consent (localStorage): remembers whether you accepted or declined. Kept until you clear your browser data.
Statistics (only if you accept)
- _ga and _ga_HNWNG5QJC9 (Google Analytics, Google Ireland Ltd.): distinguish visitors and visits. Duration: up to 2 years.
- _gcl_au (Google Ads, Google Ireland Ltd.): measures whether a visit from our ad led to an enquiry. Duration: 90 days. Only stored when we use ad measurement.
We do not use cookies for personalised ads and we do not sell data.
If you decline or don't choose
No statistics cookies are stored. We only count visits anonymously: which page was viewed, from which country and on what type of device (desktop, phone, tablet). We don't store this data ourselves: it is sent straight to Google Analytics, without cookies, IP address or identifier, so we cannot recognise you on your next visit. If you came from our ad, the ad keyword is added.
The Google tag runs in Consent Mode: without consent it sends Google only cookieless signals, from which Google produces aggregated statistics.
Third-party services
- Cloudflare: hosts the site and forwards anonymous visits to Google Analytics. It does not store tracking cookies.
- Google Analytics and Google Ads: statistics and ad measurement as described above. More: policies.google.com.
- Wistia: the videos on the service pages. The player may store its own data in your browser when a video loads. More: wistia.com/privacy.
- Web3Forms: delivers the enquiry form to our email. It stores no cookies.
Retention
VR MAX does not store visit statistics itself. Data in Google Analytics is kept for 14 months.
How to delete cookies
You can delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. We will then ask you again on your next visit.
